About Us

At A Better Life For Foster Kids, we know that real change takes a community, and businesses have a powerful role to play.

Each year, thousands of children across Victoria enter foster and kinship care, many with nothing but the clothes on their back. Our mission is to meet them with dignity, comfort and practical support in those very first moments, and with your partnership, we can do even more.

Whether you’re a small local business, a large corporate organisation, or a community group with heart, your ongoing support helps us respond faster, reach further, and bring care where it’s needed most.

Monthly Sponsorships & Corporate Giving

Becoming a monthly sponsor allows your business to support our work consistently and sustainably throughout the year. These donations help fund our core programs, from Crisis Cases and housing transition support to advocacy, carer assistance, and more.

We welcome both general sponsorships and targeted support for specific initiatives, such as:

Others Do Care Fund Sponsorship

This discretionary fund helps children in care participate in meaningful, everyday activities that support their development and wellbeing, like joining a sports team, taking dance classes, or receiving extra tutoring.

With corporate sponsorship, we can expand this program to reach even more children who deserve the chance to explore their talents, build confidence, and simply enjoy being a kid.

In 2017, just 12 children were supported through this fund. With your help, we can grow that number, and the joy it brings, year by year.
